The Washington Community-Based Education Center is a 501 c 3 non-profit organization based in Federal Way, WA. Our organization empowers Preschool–12 students throughout their educational journey by offering preschool programs, language classes, a culture club, and a children’s library. We center families’ lived experiences and create opportunities for them to get involved and build leadership skills to support and advocate for one another. Through these programs, we promote academic growth, cultural awareness, and strong parent leadership. Together, we lift up shared goals and empower students to become transformational leaders in a globalized world.

Our specialized preschool program is designed for families seeking high-quality early education without the need for full-day care. The half-day schedule offers flexibility, with two-day and three-day attendance options to support a variety of family schedules. We implement an evidence-based early learning curriculum with a strong emphasis on a global learning approach, and empowering preschool children as they prepare for public education while supporting emergent home language development, literacy, and cultural awareness in a nurturing environment.
